Katie Overy began her UAE sports journey in 2008 with DUPLAYS, a community sports hub in Dubai. She soon moved into radio covering the Dubai Rugby Sevens and the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships for Dubai Eye 103.8. Since then, Katie has hosted major sporting events including the Dubai Run & Ride, the World Padel Tour Abu Dhabi Master, Mai Dubai City Half Marathon, and Nike’s We Run DXB. As a presenter on Dubai One TV, she has interviewed stars such as Carlos Sainz Jnr, Aryna Sabalenka, Luka Dončić and Adam Gilchrist, and most recently worked with the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 team at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix hosting Mika Häkkinen, Zak Brown, Bianca Bustamante and Wasim Akram.
A keen padel player, lifelong Liverpool supporter, and passionate Formula 1 enthusiast, Katie brings her energy and love for sport into every role.
