Imad El Ghazal is Senior Vice President – Geographies & Marketplace for GMG’s Sports division, responsible for driving growth in key markets like North Africa.
Imad embraces the firm’s entrepreneurial heritage in developing new business opportunities within emerging markets. He has also been instrumental in enhancing the performance of existing business units, improving operational capabilities, leading cross-channel sales, and setting new benchmarks for organisational profitability and corporate standards.
During his career, Imad has thrived in various management and sales-oriented roles. Prior to joining GMG, he worked extensively with Adidas in North Africa, Saudi Arabia, and the Levant region. At that time, he was recognised by the Board for his ability to rejuvenate sales strategies while also ensuring business stability during intermittent periods of geopolitical uncertainty. This includes facilitating the establishment of new subsidiaries and leading them to strong revenue and profit generation.
