As the Managing Director of AD Ports Group’s Cruise Business, Noura Rashed Al Dhaheri is charged with overseeing Abu Dhabi’s cruise operations and enhancing the emirate’s position as a prominent global tourist destination for leading cruise lines.

Since joining the organisation in 2014, Al Dhaheri has presided over cruise operations at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal, the emirate’s first permanent ship terminal located at Zayed Port, as well as cruise activities at both Sir Bani Yas Island and Fujairah Terminals.

As part of her responsibilities, Al Dhaheri has led many initiatives to enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading cruise destination and has also played an active role as a member of the Cruise Tourism Sector Development Committee. She has also worked closely with strategic partners and key companies to provide services and facilities designed to support cruise line operators and attract visitors to the emirate.

Before joining AD Ports Group, Al Dhaheri worked at the Department of Culture & Tourism (DCT) as the Director of Leisure Products Development in the Tourism Sector. She is also credited with developing the highly successful and globally-renowned Gourmet Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital’s annual culinary festival.

Al Dhaheri holds a Master of Science in Leadership & Organizational Development from the Abu Dhabi School of Management (ADSM) and a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from the Higher Colleges of Technology.

She is also a graduate of the Certified CEO Program, an initiative aimed at fostering the next generation of leaders that is offered by the CEO Institute, the world’s first global certification body for CEOs with international academic accreditation.
