H.E. Sheikh Suhail Al Maktoum holds the position of Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at the General Authority of Sports, Secretary General of the UAE School and Higher Education Sports Federation, Before assuming the position of Executive Director in March 2022, H.E. Sheikh Suhail Al Maktoum served as Executive Director of Al Areen Group of Companies in Dubai. Later, he transitioned to work at the Dubai International Financial Center, where he held the role of Executive Director of Business Services. H.E. Sheikh Suhail Al Maktoum became the Executive Director of Operations at Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment in Dubai, and he held the position of the Deputy Executive Director of the Arab Strategic Forum, providing him with extensive experience in the field of business development.

H.E. Sheikh Suhail Al Maktoum holds several academic degrees. He obtained a Master of Science degree in Administrative Studies with a specialization in Financial Economics from Boston University, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from Suffolk University.

H.E. Sheikh Suhail Al Maktoum emphasizes the importance of achieving significant accomplishments in the financial, administrative and sports realms. He has gained diverse experiences across government and private institutions. Furthermore, H.E. Sheikh Suhail Al Maktoum has also participated in numerous programs, including the Hamdan bin Mohammed Program for Sports Leadership Development, the Government Leadership Program for the Ministry of Defense, and the Government Accelerators Program for senior leaders from the Cabinet.
