Boxing management companies MTK Global and Round 10 Boxing have announced their return to Dubai for the Rotunda Rumble this September.
The event will mark the second time the two firms have collaborated for a competition in the region, following the success of the Fight DXB Uncovered at the Emirates Golf Club in April.
And this September’s event will take place at the futuristic Caesers Palace, featuring a range of boxing talent and a number of exciting bouts.
Ahmed A. Seddiqi of Round 10 Boxing said: “Caesars Palace has always been a name synonymous with boxing having hosted many of the most historical fights under it’s roof and we are delighted to be bringing boxing back to it’s glorious roots with the Rotunda Rumble on September 13 here in Dubai, which we hope will be the first of many with our partnership with MTK Global.
“This is yet another big step in our mission to develop the sport in the region.”
MTK Global and Round 10 Boxing will be seeking to emulate the success of their inaugural Dubai event in April, where two major title fights took place in front of considerable crowds and in the presence of some of the region’s royalty.
But attention now turns to the Rotunda Rumble, another mouth-watering night of boxing that will go further in expanding the sport’s profile in the Middle East following Amir Khan’s recent fight in Saudi Arabia and Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Andy Ruiz in December.
Jamie Conlan, MTK Global Professional Development Coordinator, said: “Everyone at MTK Global is delighted to be heading back to Dubai to stage the ‘Rotunda Rumble’ alongside Ahmed A. Seddiqi’s Round 10 Boxing.
“The first event was a major success back in April and we can’t wait to return for another fantastic night of action.
“We witnessed some brilliant fighters and some great fights in a spectacular location earlier this year, and we’re hoping it will be more of the same in September at Caesar’s Palace Dubai.”
Welsh boxer Andy Selby has recently been unveiled on the Rotunda Rumble card, with further fight details along with ticket information being made available in due course.
