Rugby fans in the Middle East are now able to watch European and Pro14 rugby matches through the FloRugby online streaming service.

The new partnership between FloSports and European Professional Club Rugby, the organising body of the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup, runs until the 2021-22 season.

Live match coverage is available to fans in the Middle East and North Africa region, and joins a number of other rugby competitions available through FloSports, such as Women’s Sevens Series and the Premiership Rugby Cup.

The Director General of European Professional Club Rugby, Vincent Gaillard, said: “This is great news for rugby fans across the Middle East and North Africa.

“The Heineken Champions Cup continues to go from strength to strength on the field where it is undoubtedly ‘the one to win’ in club rugby.”

Among the matches available to fans in the Middle East and North Africa will be the finals of the Champions Cup and the Challenge Cup, Europe’s two leading club rugby cup competitions. The finals take place on 10-11 May 2019 at St James’ Park in Newcastle, England.

Phil Wendler, Senior Vice President of Global Rights Acquisition and Subscription at FloSports, said: “We’re excited to bring FloRugby to a new market by partnering with the pinnacle of European club rugby in the EPCR.”

As well as rugby, FloSports also covers football, basketball, wrestling and a variety of other sports, streaming more than 10,000 competitions each year.

EPCR’s Gaillard added: “We are seeing the benefits from a mix of traditional broadcasters and new digital players across the world who support our progressive strategy.”

Fans can subscribe through FloRugby.com to watch more than 70 live matches each season from the Champions Cup, the Challenge Cup and Pro14.
