The UAE Pro League has become the first entity in the Middle East and North Africa region to join football video content platform Dugout.

The ‘Arabian Gulf League’ channel was launched on the platform’s app on Tuesday.

Launched in 2016, Dugout is a content platform and publisher providing video content from over 80 partners across the world including clubs, leagues and federations.

Owned by some of Europe’s top clubs, the platform chose the UAE Pro League as its first partner in the region, highlighting the rising profile of UAE football.

Video content from the Arabian Gulf League, Arabian Gulf Cup & Arabian Gulf Super Cup will now be distributed on Dugout’s network of apps and social media channels, reaching its 30 million monthly active users.

On the first day of its launch, the ‘Arabian Gulf League’ channel on Dugout attracted over 120,000 video views on the platform, which averages around 127 million monthly video views.
