H.E. Mohamed Al Balooshi is the Executive Director  Community Engagement and Sports Sector at the Department of Community Development in Abu Dhabi. His primary role is to support the Social Sector in Abu Dhabi in achieving sustainable growth and development through leading sectoral strategies and designing programs and initiatives.

Before joining DCD, he served at the Central Bank of the UAE as Executive Director of Communications, and Earlier, Al Balooshi worked at Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC), as the Director of Marketing and Communications Department, he also worked as Project Manager at the 40th National Day Celebrations Committee, as well as a Senior Events and Marketing Communications Executive at the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority.

Al Balooshi holds a master’s degree in Marketing, Management, Communications and Media from Paris Sorbonne University, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Marketing Communications and Creative Advertising from the American University in Dubai.
