H.E. Ali Al Ali
Ali Al Ali, Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Dubai Racing Club, was appointed with the endorsement of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

That’s three clear statements of intent from the highly motivated and driven Dubai Racing Club [DRC] CEO Ali AL Ali, who was appointed to the role in April 2024.
The former aviation professional has several years of experience in the industry, from working for His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s global horseracing outfit, Godolphin, heading up the Corporate Communications and Marketing Department at DRC, being promoted to Deputy Manager of the organisation to landing the role of CEO. AL Ali’s media acumen and advanced technology knowledge is playing a big part in his strategy for DRC, which is based at the iconic Meydan Racecourse and hosts the Dubai Racing Carnival and the $30.5million Dubai World Cup meeting.
“My vision is also to make Meydan Racecourse an entertainment destination within the region, which will host big events and attract a worldwide audience,” says the man who masterminded the spectacular Closing Show at the 2024 Dubai World Cup, lauded for its revolutionary use of drone technology, it was awarded three Guinness World Records.
As CEO, the goal is to advance Dubai’s horseracing industry and maintain its global reputation. He is focused on ensuring that a world-class sporting and entertainment experience is presented to the world by Meydan Racecourse; the world’s largest integrated racing facility.
